2 EASY WAYS TO REMOVE GLITTER | DIY PEEL OFF BASECOAT

Hello beauties! ^^  The holiday season is rife with glitter nail polish of all sorts . And while this variety of lacquer is festive and fun, the removal process isn't quite as joyous. But you don't have to use mountains of cotton pads and gallons of polish remover I show you two easy ways to remove glitter nail polish.

 Just follow these simple tips.

A)FOIL METHOD

Step 1: Completely saturate acotton  with acetone nail polish remover. Set the soaked cotton on your glitter nail and wrap it completely in aluminum foil.

       Step 2: Repeat the process on each of your fingers and              thumb, pressing down on the foils while the remover works            its magic.

       Step 3: Let sit for about five minutes, then slide the foils        off to reveal glitter-free nails.

       Step 4: Repeat steps one through three on the opposite hand.

Tutorial: Peel Off Base Coat

I recently learned of this technique . Essence recently came out with a peel off base coat which does just that. It didn't take long for those who tried it to notice that it bears a strange resemblance to craft glue... which leads me to this extremely cheap, simple and effective peel of base coat...

Supplies:

· School Glue (washable, safe, non-toxic)

· Empty nail polish bottle

· Polish of choice

·  Cuticle pusher        (optional)

Instructions:

1. Transfer some craft glue to an empty nail polish bottle and a bit of water
2. apply to clean bare nails as a base coat

3.                  Allow the glue to completely dry. It will turn clear (slightly matte) and be non-sticky to the touch

4.                  Apply any polish and topcoat as you normally would.

5.                  When you are ready to remove the polish, take a cuticle pusher  and starting at the base of the nail and gently lift the edge

6.                  Continue to peel the polish off

7.                  Tada! Removing glitter polish has never been this easy. Wash hands to remove and remaining glue residue and you are done!

I will definitely be wearing glitter more often now! A little bit of waiting for the "base coat" to dry is nothing compared with the pain of glitter polish removal!
